Arkansas' First Free-Standing Alzheimer's Center

The 32-bed, Ginny & Bob Shell Alzheimer's Center at Parkway Village in Little Rock was opened in November 2010. The $6 million, 30,000-SF assisted living II center is the one and only free-standing center in Arkansas devoted to people with Alzheimer's disease.

The Ginny and Bob Shell Alzheimer's Center at Parkway Village provides a compassionate place that respects the rights and privileges of all clients; beneficial social interaction for residents, support groups for both the patient and family, and medical care for chronic health conditions.

Peace of Mind with our Long History

The Ginny and Bob Shell Alzheimer's Center is located on the beautifully landscaped and well planned 87-acre campus of Parkway Village, secured by trained Security officers 24 hours a day.
Parkway Village has been providing excellent private assisted living facilities for over twenty-five years. We are known for our delivery of care. We truly offer the most comprehensive services in our state.

Peace of Mind Means You're Never Alone

An experienced, caring, support staff member is always available to patiently answer questions, alleviate fears, and provide emotional stability. Residents can socialize by eating meals together, exercising, and participating in planned activities. Staff are in the Center at all times to assist physically, emotionally or spiritually.

Our Little Rock assisted living center has chosen staff members who are compassionate, friendly and kind. They are highly trained to meet the challenges associated with caring for individuals who have Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia. They will treat residents with dignity and continue to care for them when they can no longer verbalize their needs.

Security Designed for Peace of Mind

We provide a secure environment, which gives peace of mind to residents and family members.

We plan our days with routine activities of daily living while at the same time interweaving fun and stimulating activities.

With help from staff, residents can spend more time doing those things that bring pleasure and enjoyment: walking, singing, watching TV or doing crafts and other activities. Residents will be encouraged to socialize, but will have freedom to enjoy their home, which can be furnished with their favorite items for a comfortable, home-like feeling.
